Lightweight, soft and absorbent tea towel made from 100% Flour Sack Cotton.
The Rau Kūmara design represents the leaves of the kūmara or sweet potato plant. This pattern is frequently used in weaving and is associated with nurturing, caring and hospitality.
The Pātikitiki pattern refers to the flounder fish and its distinctive diamond shape is often featured in tukutuku panels. It symbolises abundance, prosperity and the ability to provide for the community.
The Māori artwork was designed by Mako Design in Canterbury, New Zealand.
